Lebanese solidarity with Iran shows two countries unity

Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani has described Lebanese solidarity with Iran as the existing unity between the two countries.

Thanking Lebanese leaders and officials who expressed condolences and sympathized with the Iranian government and nation over the martyrdom of a large number of Iranians in the Kerman terrorist attack, Amani wrote in Arabic on his account on the X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, saying that "I appreciate your condolences that have had a good impact on our morale and supported us in such sad moments".

He reiterated that the massive solidarity of the Lebanese people with the Islamic Republic of Iran demonstrates the depth of unity between the two countries when facing challenges.

The Wednesday's twin blasts at an event held in commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of late commander Lt. General Soleimani resulted in the martyrdom of at least 91 lives and left scores more injured, with some in critical condition.

ISIL terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack on Thursday.
