Raeisi emphasizes strengthening Iran-Tajikistan cultural ties

President Raeisi emphasized strengthening and promoting cultural relations between Iran and Tajikistan.

 Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan attended a meeting with Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi on Monday.

Stressing the need for all regional countries to actively confront terrorist movements, including ISIL, Raeisi said in this meeting, "This takfiri group, created by the United States and the Zionist regime, like the Zionists in Gaza, seeks to kill innocent women and children."

In this meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan also referred to the continuous increase in the volume of trade between Iran and Tajikistan in the last 2 years.

He called insecurity in the region a common concern of the two countries and a risky factor for business cooperation.

He also announced his country's support for the formation of an independent Palestinian state and condemned the Zionists' crime in Gaza.
