The Iranian president Ebrahim Raeisi received the visiting head of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov and his accompanying delegation in Tehran on Wednesday for a meeting. 

"The implementation of the economic agreement between the Eurasian countries lays a suitable ground for further expanding the relations between Iran, Russia and Tatarstan," Raeisi said in the meeting.

"We are fully prepared to expand economic relations with all the republics that are part of the Russian Federation," he added.

The head of Russian Tatarstan, for his part, presented a detailed report of his travel plans to Tehran, calling for holding an exhibition of Iranian products in Tatarstan and other Russian republics.
