Sepahan lose to Al Hilal 3-1 in AFC Champions League

Sepahan FC from Iran were beaten 301 by Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia at the AFC Champions League round of 16 at Naghsh-e-Jahan Stadium in Isfahan.

The Iranian football team performed much better in the first half of the match and took the lead 1-0 with Ramin Rezaeian's goal. 

Sepahan had two or three chances to widen the lead but as the time passed into the second half, the Saudi side performed much better and dominated the game.

After the first goal by the Al Hilal, Sephan lost one of its players after receiving a red card from the referee for a fault to continue the difficult match 9 men.

The Saudi side scored two more goals in the added time of the second half to have a much easier job in the return leg in Riyadh.
