Palestinian fighters blow up Israeli Merkava tank in Gaza

The Palestinian resistance fighters have destroyed Israel’s Merkava 4 battle tank, as well as an armored personnel carrier, around the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza before the occupiers’ withdrawal.

According to Palestinian sources on Monday, Al-Quds Brigades have targeted and destroyed Israel’s Merkava 4 battle tank near the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza.

In another statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, has announced that its forces targeted Israel’s army personnel carrier with a Yassin 105 rocket.

It also added that its forces targeted a group of six Israeli soldiers with the same rocket, announcing that upon the arrival of Israeli army reinforcements, al-Qassam fighters clashed with the Zionist enemies and killed or wounded a number of them.

Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades announced that its forces targeted the gathering place of the Zionist enemies, as well as the deployment of military equipment, around the al-Shifa Hospital, which forced the occupiers to flee the scene of the conflict.

Following the withdrawal, Palestinian media reported that dozens of bodies were found in the vicinity of the hospital.

The Zionist regime’s Army Radio admitted on Monday that the regime’s army killed more than 200 Palestinians during the two-week siege of al-Shifa Hospital and detained 900 others.

The Tel Aviv regime waged the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after Palestinian resistance movements in the strip carried out a retaliatory operation against the regime over its intensified violence against Palestinians.

At least 32,782 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed by Israeli offensives in Gaza so far.
