In a statement on Monday, Hamas blamed the US government for its full support of the Zionist regime and its aggressive war against the Gaza Strip and called the US responsible for the new crime committed by the Zionist forces at al-Shifa Medical Complex.

It added that the brutal crime at al-Shifa Medical Complex confirms that the occupying regime continues its genocidal war against civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

The extent of the destruction in Gaza reaffirms once again the enemy's aim to push people in Gaza to leave their land as part of its schemes to liquidate the Palestinian cause, it further noted.

Hamas urged international bodies to condemn the crime of the Zionist regime at al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

It also held the US government fully responsible for the crimes, massacres, and systematic destruction of civilian life in Gaza.

The Tel Aviv regime waged the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after Palestinian resistance movements in the strip carried out a retaliatory operation against the regime over its intensified violence against Palestinians.

At least 32,782 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed by Israeli offensives in Gaza so far.
