Al-Qassam announced on Saturday that its fighters killed 9 Zionist soldiers in an eastern neighborhood of the city of Khan Yunis, who had hidden in a house. The Palestinian fighters also destroyed three Merkava tanks in the same neighborhood, Al Jazeera reported.  

In a separate development the same day, the group killed 5 Zionist soldiers in a western neighborhood of Khan Yunis and destroyed an armored vehicle.

Fighters from different Palestinian resistance groups have been engaged in fierce clashes with the Israeli regime forces since the Gaza war began in early October.

The groups say that they will continue to fight the regime to force it to stop its crimes against the civilian population in Gaza where more than 37,130 people have already been killed over the past six months. Most of those killed are women and children.

According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, over 75,800 people have also been injured since the Israeli regime waged its war on October 7.
