President Pezeshkian vows to step up efforts to implement Leader’s directives

President Masoud Pezeshkian says his administration will do utmost to eliminate obstacles hindering production in Iran, ensuring that the directives of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei would be fully realized.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his first cabinet meeting in the Persian New Year, Pezeshkian said that the government remains committed to facilitating the implementation of this year’s slogan, designated by the Leader in his annual Nowruz message as the “Year of Investment for Production.”

The president assured that “the Leader’s directives will not remain mere slogans” as he is actively pursuing solutions to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and members of the chamber of commerce.

Pezeshkian has repeatedly said that he would strive to fix the downward spiral of the Iranian economy in recent months.

In response to a question about public participation in International Quds Day, Pezeshkian called it a “historic day for Iran” and invited the people to participate in the march enthusiastically to support the oppressed Palestinians and condemn the crimes committed by the Israeli regime and its backers.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Israel's inhumane behavior in the region is unacceptable to any one with conscience as even the people in Europe are opposed to such atrocities.
