Araqchi held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani on Tuesday night. The two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments.

The Iranian minister referred to the last month military aggression by the Israeli regime and the United States against Iran, which took place while Tehran was engaged in nuclear talks with Washington, and emphasized necessity for all governments to condemn this blatant violation of international law.

The Italian foreign minister stressed the importance of diplomacy and the avoidance of the use of force in resolving international issues.
