During the visit on Wednesday, the two foreign ministers discussed issues of bilateral importance, as well as regional and international developments.
Araqchi left Tehran for Dushanbe on Wednesday morning as he was seen off by Tajik ambassador to Tehran Nizomiddin Zohidi.
He has earlier met with Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon.
