In a message on Monday, Pezeshkian expressed his condolences to His Eminence Ayatollah Sistani, his esteemed children, the honored family, and all believers for this tragic loss.

He prayed for God’s mercy and forgiveness for her. 

The body of the wife of Ayatollah Sistani was laid to rest on Monday morning at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in Karbala, attended by a large number of mourners and believers.
