According to Khabaronline, according to information released by official sources, the large-scale drill, named after Mohammad Nazeri and launched on Thursday, December 04, across the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Naze'at Islands, and the Gulf of Oman, entered a stage today in which a significant volume of long-range weaponry was employed. In this phase, cruise missiles including “Ghadir,” “Ghadir 110,” and “Ghadir 380,” as well as the “303” ballistic missile, were fired from various locations deep inside Iran and struck pre-designated targets in the Gulf of Oman with high accuracy and near-simultaneous impact.
Parallel to the missile operations, drone systems carried out offensive strikes on simulated enemy bases, reportedly destroying all assigned targets. At the same time, air-defense systems installed on naval vessels conducted heavy interception drills against aerial threats approaching Iran’s shores or fast-attack craft.
Commanders stated that testing the endurance of combat systems under complex conditions, rehearsing counter-electronic-warfare scenarios, and measuring coordination among missiles, drones, and air-defense units are among the primary objectives of this drill. The exercise continues across a wide expanse from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman and is designed to simulate real combat environments and assess system resilience under wartime conditions.
