The United States to Deport Another Group of Iranian Migrants

According to reports, following the first deportation flight of Iranian nationals in September, the U.S. government plans to return another group to Iran today.

According to Khabaronline, The Trump administration is expected to deport dozens of Iranians today; a source familiar with the matter confirmed the development to CNN.

According to the U.S. network, “this is the second deportation flight following a rare agreement between Washington and Tehran—two governments without diplomatic relations—carried out amid the Trump administration’s broader push to remove undocumented migrants.”

The source added that today’s flight is expected to make a stopover in Kuwait en route to Iran.

The first flight took place in September and reportedly returned 120 undocumented migrants.
