Hedayi had an impressive performance last year with the Texas Smash team, which earned him multiple offers from other teams in the league. He had ultimately signed with the New York Slees for the upcoming season.
Despite preparing for the league, Hedayi could not secure a visa. Previously, he had successfully obtained a U.S. residency visa on three separate occasions.
