Iran Condemns “Illegal Entry” of Israeli FM into Somalia

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has strongly condemned the illegal entry of the Israeli regime’s foreign minister into the Somaliland region, characterizing it as a flagrant violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia.

According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, The spokesperson highlighted the international community’s consensus on respecting the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Somalia as an independent UN member state.

Baghaei described the Israeli regime’s actions aimed at partitioning Somalia as a “dangerous precedent” in international relations and a “fatal blow” to the legal and normative foundations of the United Nations.

Furthermore, Baghaei underscored the urgent need for cooperation between the international community, Islamic nations, and African countries to prevent any further undermining of Somalia’s national sovereignty.
