Larijani: Iran Will Not Remain Passive Amid U.S. Threats

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Larijani, emphasized that Iran will not remain passive in the face of threatening U.S. rhetoric during a phone call with Switzerland’s National Security Advisor, Gabriel Loeschinger.

According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Larijani highlighted Switzerland’s constructive role in conflict resolution and its positive track record in peaceful dispute settlement, noting Iran’s favorable view of its approach.

He stated that Iran appreciates Switzerland’s positive stance but will not be passive in response to U.S. threats.

Loeschinger affirmed Switzerland’s full readiness to play a constructive role in reducing tensions under current conditions.
