According to Khabaronline, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the recent decision of the Israeli regime to confiscate and register Palestinian lands in the West Bank of the Jordan River as “state property” under the sovereignty of the occupying regime.
The spokesperson described this action as a continuation of the policy of genocide against Palestinians and in line with the colonial plan to eliminate Palestine.
He underscored the responsibility of the international community and all member states of the United Nations to confront this situation and to put an end to the impunity of the Israeli regime.
He also referred to the explicit condemnation of this illegal and criminal action by the Israeli regime by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and most countries, emphasizing the necessity of decisive and effective action by the United Nations to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities regarding the ongoing grave violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to life and self-determination.
