Iran, Egypt Foreign Ministers Discuss Negotiations

The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt held a phone conversation to discuss the latest developments related to nuclear negotiations as well as regional and international issues, in what is seen as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to sustain dialogue.

According to KhabarOnline, During the call, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi referred to recent developments in the indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington and emphasized efforts to draft a negotiating framework based on mutual respect and shared interests. He described diplomacy as the primary path for managing differences and advancing talks.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, for his part, welcomed the continuation of the diplomatic process and stressed the importance of maintaining consultations to help move negotiations forward and reach a framework acceptable to all relevant parties.

The conversation comes amid increased diplomatic activity surrounding Iran’s nuclear file in recent weeks, with regional and international actors underscoring the importance of preserving communication channels to reduce tensions and achieve sustainable solutions.
