According to Khabaronline, Mohammed Al-Araimi, president of the Omani Journalists Association, stated that the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council will travel to the Omani capital as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts surrounding the country’s nuclear dossier.
In a post on X, Al-Araimi wrote: “Ali Larijani is expected to arrive in Muscat on Tuesday carrying Iran’s response concerning its nuclear file. This step reflects the continuation of diplomatic movements and once again underscores the central role played by the Sultanate of Oman in facilitating communication channels and dialogue between the Iranian and American sides.”
Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced Sunday evening on X that the next round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States “is now scheduled to take place in Geneva this Thursday.” Expressing satisfaction with the development, he added that he was also “pleased that positive efforts are being made to take further steps toward finalizing an agreement.”
