Iran keen to cement ties with Turkmenistan: Ahmadinejad

In a meeting in Tehran on Monday night, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks on various issues including bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region and the world.

During the meeting, Ahmadinejad emphasized the necessity of the consolidation of Tehran-Ashgabat relations in all spheres and said the two countries’ officials should make every effort to promote the ties.
