Traditional Iranian music ensemble, Hannaneh, is slated to perform concerts in Russian capital city of Moscow, as well as several cities in Tatarstan.

The ensemble led by the Kamran Hemmatpour is planning to present its program in two sections.

A group of Tanbur virtuosos is planned to perform some pieces during the first section to introduce a part of Iran’s classical music.

The second section of the program is scheduled to present some folksongs from the country’s various regions such as Khorasan, Azarbaijan and Kermanshah.

Nasser Kaveh, Hassan Kadkhodaeinia and Farid Qasemi as the members of the ensemble will accompany Hemmatpour who is the group’s vocalist as well.

The Iranian vocalist Sirus Maleki is also slated to collaborate with the group and appear on the Russian stages.

Hannaneh music performance in Russia is set to be held from February 6 through14, 2013.
