According to Khabaronline news agency, the full text of this statement issued on the eve of Eid al-Fitr is as follows:
The Iran- Saudi Arabia Friendship Association, while congratulating the Supreme Leader and all the Muslim nations on Eid-ul-Fitr, announces that we are very pleased with the agreement of the two major Islamic countries, which will take place along with the official reopening of the embassies in each other's territory, and we are grateful to God for the resumption of brotherly diplomatic relations between two important countries in the region on the anniversary of the announcement of the existence of the Iran- Saudi Arabia Friendship Association, because this important matter promises a very bright future in the regional perspective.
While congratulating Eid al-Fitr, we are proud to congratulate the leaders, people of the two countries, as well as the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on this victory for the covenant of brotherhood, and we hope to witness the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between the two countries and the Islamic Ummah.
It should be noted that since the announcement of the association's existence in Eid al-Fitr 2022, the founders of the association will always focus on a series of meetings with local officials, speeches and activities in the media field that allowed positive opinions inside and outside the country; including the elites and officials of the relevant institutions regarding the stances of the Iran-Saudi Friendship Association. It is hoped that the aforementioned association will officially start its work at the same time as the embassies reopen.
