Iran FM, Hamas official discuss latest developments in Gaza

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Head of Hamas's Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh have reviewed the latest developments on the ground in the Gaza Strip.

In a phone conversation, Amirabdollahian categorically condemned the brutal attacks by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians particularly women and children, as well as blatant violation of human rights by the regime, noting that the measures indicate the Zionists’ weakness in the face of the Palestinian resistance.

The foreign minister also appreciated the heroic resistance by the Palestinian people and jihadi groups in the face of the Israeli aggressions, urging the international community to support the Palestinians and their legitimate resistance.

Haniyeh, for his part, thanked Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and President Ebrahim Raisi for their supports for the Palestinian cause, noting that the resistance groups are completely ready to fight back the Zionists’ aggression.

The resistance will determine the fate of the aggression by the regime; so, Israel has no choice other than succumbing, he added.
