Iranian, Pakistani heads of states review trade cooperation

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have held talks on strengthening trade cooperation between the two countries.

The talks were held at the Pishin-Mand joint border point on Thursday, according to a report released by Prime Minister’s office.

Today talks have been the third meeting between the heads of the two states over the past year.

The Iranian president and Pakistani premier jointly inaugurated the border marketplace and electricity transmission line on the joint border crossing on Thursday.

Iranian president arrived at Konarak Airport in the country's southeast on Thursday to follow up on the implementation of development projects and meet with Pakistani prime minister, according to the IRNA report.
