During his visit to the exhibition of the defense industry in Tehran on Thursday, Major General Mousavi said that following wise and valuable guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Iran’s Army reached a point that is now independent of foreign countries in supplying its defense equipment.
When a country relies on foreigners to provide defensive equipment, it inevitably needs to behave in operations based on the capability of the imported equipment, but when a country has its own defense equipment based on its tactical needs, it will have the power to take initiatives, he added.
Referring to his visit to the exhibition of achievements of the defense industry, Major General Mousavi thanked the Iranian youth for achieving great outcomes in the Ministry of Defense.
