The arrogant powers managed to justify their wrong deeds through media and by preparing the grounds to fulfill their objectives, Mehman-Parast said, addressing the participants in Tehran's 19th International Exhibition of the Press and News Agencies as well as those of the second meeting of the Press and News Agencies Union of the Islamic World.
He also stressed the need to promote media relations among Muslim countries to echo the voice of the world's oppressed nations, and said, "To confront media currents led by the world's arrogance, we need to strengthen media relations in the Islamic World in order to echo the voice of the oppressed nations without the help of any third party."
Mehman-Parast stressed the significant role of independent media to support Muslim nations express themselves in the world public opinion, and urged Muslim nations to promote bilateral cooperation through international press unions.
