Khabar Online: Iran's Majlis(Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is against any military interference in the countries which are experiencing political developments.

"sincea democracy which is enforced bya foreign military force, will prepare the ground for the establishment of a new and modern type of dictatorship," he stated.
At a speech made in the opening ceremony of the 8th Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference held in Khartoum, Sudan Larijani said: "After the establishment of a multipolar structure in the world, one may say that the Islamic countries could adopt two approaches to such a new structure."
He stated that the first approach would be the solidarity ofthe Islamic countries to shape a new influential pole: "This method requires the Islamic countries to converge their economic, political and cultural capabilities. At the same time they must minimize the challenges between themselves by using a friendly mechanism."
"Such task can be accomplished by the parliaments of the Islamic countries which are the symbol of the Islamic nations' powerand should make efforts to restore the magnificence of Islamic civilization."
He further said: "In the second approach they would turn into vassal countries affiliated to the international powers which would be a follow-up to the cold war situation but with new formations.Obviously this model will benefit the world powers and faces the Islamic countries with new rivalries and challenges which helpsthe world powers to plunder their natural resources."
"From the view of democracy based on the Islamic wisdom, the recent developments in the Islamic world have been remarkable. As far asthese developments call for independence, freedom and Islamism, they will cause painto the international powers," Iran's Majlis speaker said.
"Although these powers pretend that they support such progressive moves but in the midst of political and economic problemsthe people of the developing countries cannot expect help from them, but should watch over the situation and not let the world powers to take advantage of the crisis and impose a new form of despotism," he added.
Iran's top legislator suggested: "The powerful struggle of the Islamic resistance forces, including Hezbollah and Hamas against the Zionist regime of Israel has changed the balance of power in the Middle East region and manifested the ability of Muslims in challenging the Zionists. These Mujahid factions have also proved theircapabilities in resolving their internal problems andhave strengthened the self-esteem of Muslim nations throughout the world."
"On the other hand, the proliferation of some illogical and extremist groups which launch terrorist attacks in the Islamic lands has exacerbated the internal challenges of the Islamic nation, has distorted the realpicture of Muslimsand has takena heavy toll on the Islamic countries," Larijani said.
Referring to the differences on theology and religious jurisprudence among various Islamic sects, he said: "It's an issue which must be considered and judged by Muslim jurisprudents (Foqaha),not something supposed to be debated on streets and put in dispute through recourse to violencewhich inflames hatred among Muslims. Such behaviors and acts are simply in the best interests ofthe domineering oppressors."
He went on to say: "We don't have any dispute with the followers of other religions as Islam advises all to manage peaceful coexistence. The crimes are currently committed particularly in some Islamic countries like Pakistan, Iraq and Syria in the name of Islam is nothingother thana political deception coming out of corrupt minds which simply serve the interests of the United States and international Zionism."
