The Syrian army continued its cleanup operations and took control of important and strategic parts of Hama province on Monday.

The army continued chasing and purging al-Nusra Front terrorists from different parts of Hama province. The Syrian army killed tens of terrorists, and defused 11 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) which were laid at Hama city's entrance

Meantime, the Syrian army killed more than 30 terrorists, including a terrorist ringleader Sam Abu Majed, in Darya near the capital city of Damascus.

Terrorists have tried hard in the last few months to make Syrian cities unsafe, specially for citizens, but the army has purged them from most neighborhoods and districts, killed hundreds of them and arrested many more.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country.

Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.

The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
