Marzieh Afkham held that the recent human rights resolution by European Parliament against Iran will be harmful for Europe.
She reiterated that the European Parliament’s measure is biased and racist adding that they cannot impose their will upon Iranians.
EP passed a resolution against Iran expressing concern over the human rights violations in the country. The resolution also says that Iran’s presidential election in June 2013 which was not held according to the democratic standards valued by the EU.
Iran’s FM spokeswoman has said that European Parliament’s recent resolution against the country is ‘baseless and unacceptable’.
