Iran, Iraq review ways to cooperate on medical education

Iranian and Iraqi officials held talks on Tuesday on ways to develop bilateral cooperation in the area of medical education.

The talks were held by the visiting Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education Saeed Namaki and Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Qusay al-Suheil. 

Namaki heading an Iranian delegation arrived in Baghdad on Monday (April 22) at the invitation of his Iraqi counterpart Ala'a Al Alawan.

After arrival, Namaki and his delegation negotiated with the Iraqis on the context of new agreements.

Iraq is southwestern neighbor of Iran and the two countries have about 1,500 kilometers long border.
