Supreme Leader urges police serious dealing with insecurity

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday called on police forces to seriously deal with insecurity in the cyber world as well as smuggling of goods and commodities.

Addressing a group of police commanders in Tehran on Sunday, the Supreme leader highlighted the significant role of police forces in a meeting with the country's aspiration and promoting security in the society as well as cyber net.

Police forces are symbol of authority and kindness who render round-the-clock services to all people from all walks of life, the Supreme Leader said. 

In recent flood, police forces proved that to what extent they are committed to their pledges in rendering timely services to people.

Preventing purchase and sales of arms is among significant mission of the force, the Supreme Leader said, adding that in some countries such as the US, buying and selling arms are free thanks to the role of armament manufacturers Mafia which has created problems for people, but in our country there is not such a problem as buying and selling arms is forbidden.
