Heading a high-ranking military delegation, Wei Fenghe will visit Iran on Wednesday to exchange views with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani.
The Chinese minister is also to hold separate meetings with senior Iranian officials to discuss the latest bilateral, regional and international developments as well as to boost the level of cooperation between the two countries' armed forces.
