Iran, India FMs meet in New Delhi

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Wednesday met with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi, India.

Amirabdollahian met and held talks with his Indian counterpart.

During the meeting, Iran and India inked judicial cooperation in New Delhi, India.

Amirabdollahian arrived in New Delhi to confer with senior Indian officials.

Earlier today, upon his arrival in New Delhi, Amirabdollahian told reporters that India-Iran ties are at a very good level.

The exchange of delegations especially in the new administration in Tehran has increased and all-out relationship, including cultural cooperation, has been developed, the top diplomat noted.

Holding meetings with Indian religious scholars, local officials, and figures, as well as Iranian businessmen and expatriates in India, is on the agenda of his trip. 

Meeting with the National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister of India is the first meeting of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on his current visit to India's New Delhi.
