Skocic dismissed as manager of Iran national football team

With this decision, the Croatian coach will not accompany the Iranian national football team in the 2022 World Cup.

Skocic held the realm of the Iranian national football team in early 2020 and managed to qualify the team for the World Cup.  

There has been a lot of arguments around his stay in Iran as the team has become widely polarized over the case.

Finally the technical committee of the Iranian Football Federation approved earlier today that Skocic has been dismissed.

Some Iranian coaches are said to have good chances to replace him as the manager of the national team.
