The meeting was held at Saadabad Cultural Complex in northern Tehran.
Al-Sudani, who arrived in Tehran on Tuesday, was officially welcomed by Iranian President Ebrhim Raisi on the same day.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian held talks here on Wednesday with the visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.
