Iran, Qatar hold 6th joint cooperation committee meeting

The sixth meeting of the joint Iranian-Qatari cooperation committee was held in Doha in the presence of the two countries' labor ministers.

The two sides discussed the development of cooperation in the field of vocational and technical training plus the deployment of trainers and empowerment of them.

Facilitating the deployment of skilled Iranian workers and engineers, conducting joint trips of Iranian and Qatari labor inspectors to exchange joint experiences, and forming a joint committee on labor and employer to help align the views and opinions of the two sides were among the resolutions of six meeting of the joint Qatari-Iranian committee in Doha.

They emphasized practical efforts in implementing the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and the Additional Protocol, determining the liaison to follow up and implement the cooperation documents.

It was also decided that the seventh meeting of the joint Iranian-Qatari committee would be held in the Iranian capital city of Tehran next year.
