“We are in war with the Zionist enemy and are in fight against the US and the UK, which have attacked Yemen to make the occupying regime continue its crimes in Gaza”, the Ansarullah leader said on Wednesday, according to Yemen’s Al Masirah TV.

In his message, he congratulated all Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, including Palestinians and resistance fighters in Gaza.

Al-Houthi called it an honor for the Yemeni people to support the Palestinians, saying that the Yemenis are in a battle against the enemies of God and humanity.

He was referring to Yemeni operations against Israel-linked vessels in the Red Sea as well as attacks on positions inside the occupied Palestinian territories over the past months. Yemen says it has been conducting those attacks and operations to force the regime to stop its crimes against Gazans and lift its siege of the Palestinian territory.
