Amirabdollahian also met his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi on Saturday.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 15th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the Gambian capital Banjul.

Amirabdollahian had earlier met his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Banjul.
