According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote on the social media platform X following his recent visit to Russia and meetings with senior Russian officials that the two countries have agreed to deepen their diplomatic coordination.
“Building on our Strategic Partnership Treaty, Iran and Russia’s foreign ministries have agreed on a three-year roadmap to regularize and elevate our cooperation and coordination,” Araghchi said.
He added that enhanced collaboration between Moscow and Tehran would help counter illegal Western sanctions, promote regional stability, advance joint infrastructure projects, and block what he called unlawful measures at the United Nations Security Council.
“Our neighbors are our priority,” the Iranian foreign minister emphasized.
