President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that the US presidential election has no impact on Iran's foreign policy.

Speaking to formal session of the cabinet ministers, he said that the US status at the international community got weaker due to the US wrong policies causing wide gap with the international community and Europe as well.

US presidential election revealed the community tension the United States is suffering from and lack of domestic stability, so that it will take a long time to resolve the domestic gap and differences, he said.

President Rouhani said that Iran's policy is based on forming constructive interaction with the outside world and diplomatic campaign to lift sanctions the US imposed on Iran over nuclear dispute.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to develop economic cooperation with other countries.

Iran exercised vigilance to settle the nuclear dispute and got approval of the UN Security Council revoking the sanctions, so that the US government cannot change the situation, Rouhani said.
