Iran's vice president for parliamentary affairs submitted to parliament on Tuesday the list of 17 cabinet nominees for President Rouhani's second term of office.

The list was presented to the legislator body enforcing the Principle 133 of the Constitution and the Majlis internal regulations.

Iran has 18 ministries and the nominee for heading the Ministry of Science is yet to be announced.

Besides the list, Hossein Ali Amiri also submitted the nominees' records as well as the new cabinet's agenda to the Parliament for the vote of confidence.

President Rouhani took oath at the parliament's formal session on Saturday. He won the 12th presidential election on May 19, sweeping 57% (23 million) of the votes that brought him a second term in the office as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Meanwhile, the Parliament Vice-President Maoud Pezeshkian announced the nominees as follows:

Abbas Salehi (Culture and Islamic Guidance),
