OIC condemns bombing of Gaza hospital as example of state terrorism

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the Israeli regime’s deadly attack on the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, calling it an example of state terrorism.

In a statement issued late on Tuesday, OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli bombing earlier in the day of the hospital, which is also known as the Baptist Hospital of Gaza, which left at least 500 people, many of them women and children, killed.

The statement said the attack was a war crime and a crime against humanity and represented a clear example of state terrorism by the Israeli regime.

Taha called on the United Nations Security Council to urgently intervene to stop the Israeli regime’s continued wave of attacks on the civilian population in Gaza.

More than 3,200 people have been killed in over 10 days of Israeli air strikes and shelling against the Palestinian enclave of Gaza.
