Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Affairs Abbas Araghchi says Tehran completely trusts Iraq to provide security in the upcoming talks between Iran and the P5+1.

“We believe that Iraqi officials are capable of organizing the meeting between Iran and the P5+1 -- Britain, France, Russia, China and the US plus Germany - properly just as they organized several summits such as the Arab League summit,” Araghchi said .

The 23rd Arab League summit was held in Baghdad on March 27 which was the first meeting of the bloc in Iraq in 22 years.

Araghchi added that the meeting between Iran and the P5+1 would be held in May in Baghdad without any problems.

Iran and the P5+1 wrapped up the first round of their latest negotiations on April 14 in the Turkish city of Istanbul. Both sides hailed the talks as constructive.

The next round of multifaceted negotiations will be held on May 23 in Baghdad.
