Iran’s Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Hamid Shahabadi and several other officials along with many art lovers attended the opening ceremony held on June 21, 2012.
Some 129 works created by 110 photographers were selected for the showcase from among 14,317 photos taken by 2,570 artists.
The selected photos are currently on display at IAF’s galleries of Momayyez, Bahar, Tabestan, Paiiz and Zemestan.
The 2012 National Biennial of Photography exhibition is scheduled to run until July 4.
