Iran's President Hassan Rouhani wrote a letter to Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Sunday welcoming a call for his appearance before the Parliament to answer questions about the country's economic problems.

'In order for questioning the president to be a blessed happening, two points need to be taken into consideration – firstly it has to be within the framework of the Constitution and secondly it needs to be done in the proper time,' The president said, regretting that none of these two points were fulfilled.

However, he noted that he will appear before the Parliament in the appointed time to answer to the questions.

'This can provide a proper opportunity so that I can retell some realities for the beloved people of my country who are the real owners of the country and the legitimacy of me and you comes from their votes.'
