"I was saddened to hear about the recent earthquake in Turkey and I express solidarity with Your Excellency, noble people and government of the country, especially bereaved families and wish divine forgiveness for the dead and swift recovery for the wounded," the letter read.
The minister also wished his counterpart good health and success and prosperity for the Turkish people and government.
