Brigadier general Ahmad Taheri said that after getting tip-off over carrying narcotic consignment with a truck, police teams immediately started operation.
Police forces controlled Zahedan roads and finally discovered the truck carrying illegal drugs and stopped it, he added.
Police apprehended the truck driver and found the shipment of opium, he noted.
