The message said that the news of the passing of a number of Iraqi people in the hospital fire has saddened the Iranian people, president, and other cabinet members.
President Rouhani prayed for victims to rest in peace and wished speedy recovery for those injured in the incident.
According to IRNA, a fire broke out in the Quarantine Section of the Corona disease patients in Imam Hussain (P) Hospital in Nasiriyah, Ziqar province, on Monday night as a result of which more than 60 Iraqi citizens lost their lives. The media have also reported a rising number of victims.
