Iran Foreign Ministry says is pursuing release of pilgrim jailed in Saudi Arabia

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alireza Bikdeli has said that the ministry continues to follow up the case of imprisoned Iranian national Mohammad Khazaee until he is released from Saudi jail.

Bikdeli made the comment on Saturday as he met with family members of Khazaee.

He assured them that the Foreign Ministry and Iranian diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia will continue to follow up their son’s case until he is released from prison.

Mohammad Khazaee was arrested on June 19 during Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
