Addressing a ceremony to commemorate the 54th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, Sadeq emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations based on good neighborliness and common interests.
She pointed to the presence of over 500,000 Iranians in the UAE and approximately 300 weekly flights, describing these connections as a clear sign of the depth of popular relations.
She also termed the UAE as one of Iran's main trade partners.
The capacity for economic cooperation between the two countries is far beyond the current level, she said.
Sadeq referred to the holding of the first joint economic cooperation commission between Iran and the UAE in the past 18 months and expressed hope that its second meeting would be held in Tehran in the near future.
Emphasizing Iran's strategy of prioritizing the development of relations with neighbors, she said Iran has a clear perspective on expanding relations with the UAE government and welcomes any initiative to strengthen ties.
Elsewhere in her remarks, she lauded the constructive and responsible positions of the UAE government in condemning the recent aggressions by the Israeli regime against Iran.
The hostile behavior of the Israeli regime against the Persian Gulf region has become increasingly evident, and it is essential for regional countries to strive, with solidarity and unity, to deepen peace and stability, she stressed.
